Bilenky 2005 Touring (Midland)

This is a wedding gift from my lovely wife. It started when we place an order for a Bilenky Mixte for her. During the measurement, Chad at College Park bikes mentioned Bilenky is going to make a touring bike for the shop and it has an oval top tube, handmade lugs like a Rene Herse.

The first showing of this bike was at 2005 Le Cirque du Cyclisme as their show bike. When it finally arrived at College Park bikes, many of their customers took the bike for a ride and I just fell in love. I have been looking for a loaded touring bike that than handles 50+ pounds of stuff and this bike can handle it.
